WWI Wood Propeller

€348,69 Sale price

Regular price €348,69

All the planes flying the skies during WWI and the 20s featured wood propellers. Mounted on the shaft of huge six to twelve-cylinder engines, the engine was started up by giving the propeller a solid swing. Earlywood propellers are often the only artifacts saved from old aircraft, and antique ones are rare and costly. Our reproduction is handcrafted out of solid pinewood, exactly the same as the originals. It makes a beautiful wall décor at a surprisingly affordable cost.
